Review

"This book will provide an excellent resource for mentors and coaches who are searching for ways to develop their practice. In particular it offers the reader an opportunity to engage with the underlying theoretical framework for coaching and mentoring, and a rationale for 'acting in the world' in a reflective and informed manner. The book is full of practical advice and activities which will help readers hone their coaching and mentoring skills, and the case studies and examples demonstrate how well the authors know this field, as well reassure readers that they are not alone when they find such a complex area of human activity so challenging." - Professor Yvonne Hillier, Department of Education and Lifelong Learning, City University
